# Private research: sealed tabs

Ask Youcog a question and it reads the web for you. The sites it reads never see your browser.

## How to use it

1. Type a question into **Mission** (up to 400 characters). On desktop you can press **Ctrl/Cmd + Enter**.
2. Tap **Run Youcog**. Youcog searches the web and writes a short **brief**.
3. The brief lists its **sources**. Tap one to open it in a **sealed tab**.
4. Want a specific page? Use **Open a sealed tab** and paste any public web address.

You can keep several tabs open, switch between them, and close them with the **×**.

## What "sealed" means

* **Youcog fetches the page, your browser doesn't.** The site sees Youcog's server, not you.
* **No cookies are sent, and page scripts never run.** You get the readable text of the page.
* **Your network can see that you used Youcognito,** but not which sites were read.
* **Nothing is saved.** The session lives in memory until you burn it or refresh.

Some things can't be sealed:

* Private or local addresses, and addresses with a login in them, are blocked.
* Sites with strong bot protection may refuse automated readers. Youcog tells you when this happens, so you can open the page in your own browser instead.

## Good questions to ask

* "What is the YOUCOG token on Base?"
* "Research the YOUCOG token on Base: contract, supply, holders and recent activity"
* "Summarize today's news about the Base blockchain"
* Or open Basescan for YOUCOG in a sealed tab from the suggestions.

## Limits and fallbacks

* To keep it fair, each visitor can run about **8 missions every 10 minutes**. If you hit the limit, Youcog says it's resting. Try again in a few minutes.
* Answers come from AI (xAI's Grok) using public web pages. They can be wrong or out of date, so check anything important.
* If the AI is unavailable, Youcog falls back to a free summary from public sources and says so at the top of the brief.
