# Quote-cast for $RCST (ended)

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Ended. This was a one-time launch promotion.** It is no longer promoted, and these docs no longer explain how to take part. YOUCOG and $RCST have no promised value and can go to zero. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Check your local laws.
{% endhint %}

## What it was

Around the October 2026 launch, Farcaster users who quote-cast the Youcognito launch cast in the **/recast** channel could receive a one-time gift of $RCST on Base, once per Farcaster account.

$RCST is a separate token from $YOUCOG. Its contract on Base: `0xcD74cB0455be5bc8316c4C84864988BA9E5631CE`.
