# $YOUCOG

**$YOUCOG** is the community token of Youcognito on **Base**. It is what the daily faucet gives out and what unlocks [Deep Mission](/youcognito-docs/features/deep-mission.md). Live today. The trading token. It is not used for nito votes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
YOUCOG has **no promised value**. It is a community token for an experimental app. Prices change and can go to zero. Only spend what you can afford to lose. Read the [Disclaimer](/youcognito-docs/project/disclaimer.md).
{% endhint %}

## What YOUCOG is used for today

* **Daily faucet:** a small gift of 840, 2,222 or 13,938 a day while supplies last, with streak bonuses. See [Daily faucet](/youcognito-docs/features/faucet.md).
* **Listen boost:** finishing the remix unlocks a bigger faucet gift (100,000) that day. See [Listen boost](/youcognito-docs/features/listen-boost.md).
* **Deep Mission:** hold 10,000,000 YOUCOG to unlock longer reports.
* **Holder badge** on the leaderboard.

## Planned

* **Forge** (in design): optional learning quests and cosmetic badges. Details will be published after review. See the [Roadmap](/youcognito-docs/project/roadmap.md).
* **Voting** would use separate **nito voting points** (proposed, not live, votes only, no monetary value). See [nito DAO](/youcognito-docs/the-token/nito-dao.md).

## Project wallets

These are the project's own public wallets. Their trades never show up in the ghost buy slides in the app.
